Between the two choices I must agree. But if you include Billy Shakespeare in the mix I still believe Shakespeare to be still in first place as the true identity of himself.

I happen to agree, some are never recognized for their genius in their own lifetimes, but if I had to choose an alternate, it would be Bacon.
