I have been given a pdf containing details of a share offer. Griffiths College dublin wants to expand to teaching accounting in China, and someone i know who was a student there, has been given the offer. She wans to know if it is a good idea to invest......Like i even know who Dow Jones is 😛


Is there anyone who knows what they're talking about who can help ?

A .pdf is no more trustworthy than a Nigerian bank/prince/princess/lottery/overdue-library-book email.

Go through a broker if a noob till you see how things work. The fee is tax deductable and he can tell you if its on the up and up.
A good share should pay for itself with dividends alone in 8 to 10 years so check out the return to share holders if an existing company.

I wouldn't do it...good way to loose your money.

This isn't a very good time to be expanding a college...maybe it is a scam?
