Does anyone know how to do this without using MS Exchange server? I've found a few things on the Net but whenever i try to download them they're no longer available (MS cloak and dagger society is as strong as ever it seems...). I only want to synchronise two machines so i can share contacts with another user. MS Exchange server is like taking a Bazooka to swat a fly... π

Originally posted by Daemon SinAlas no, Microsoft have thrown a spanner in the works there. When i read the help file it advises using Microsoft Exchange Server. I've tried putting the .pst file into a shared folder but it doesn't allow multiple users to access it. It won't even let me transfer a copy of the file to the other machine! π

Looks like 3rd party software is the way to go then. =/

But I've no idea if it will work... π

I recon the time used learning a new OS would work out about the same as the time wasted on MS within 6 months. He's not game though. π
