Funny thing (if one can be found), is that the aggrieved are charging defamation...

"Defamation is a legal action sounding in tort based on an intentional or reckless public false statement that injures another person's reputation"

Er, didn't you read my thread? I thought I pre-empted such remarks, I was just using them as examples of places relatively far from my town. But of course, as usual you miss the thrust of the thread and only concentrate on what you see as a slight.

Maybe you are correct. Without knowing all the details. He might have been trying to save the dogs life from an abusive owner who was insisting on executing and mistreating the dog. For some reason I was just thinking that the doctor was fraudulently deceiving the owners into thinking they had an animal that had a terminal illness. Did I misread it in thinking that the Veterinarian was stealing the Animal? I didn't think of that possibility. But even so it doesn't sound legal.
