I've played poker since I was 14 or 15. But always with clothes as a bet. Otherwise it bores me.

I much prefer Magic, which is the only card game I can percieve playing without taking my clothes off.

This is why I've never played poker. 😏

I loved Magic. But all my friends who used to play got too "cool" and stopped. Bastards...

My resume for that period is blank and I can say honestly that I "ate steak" in college. Then "Rounders" came out, then Chris Moneymaker parlayed forty bucks into two and a half million, and poker was ruined. Now, ...[text shortened]... in of attitude instead of skill. Trying to play more outside the casinos now. Bunch of idiots.
the skill is still equally inportant however.

Word. The only thing worse is playing with guys who think they're the freaking colour commentators, spouting off inane lingo they learned on TV. Poker's for the birds now.

I play Rummy at $0.10 a point! Way more enjoyable.

Rummy is a cool game also. If you ever saw High Roller, the movie with that kid form Soprano's, it the story of Stewie Unger, only three time World Series of Poker champion, he started out playing Rummy. Thats were he learned how to read players so well. Rummy is another game where you play the people also, not just the cards

I learned holdem after the first time I saw it on TV. Maybe a year before it became out of control big. The guy I play with has a hard time keeping players coming every week for some reason.
