When I elected to signup to this site using the google authentication, it looks like my userid was selected for me. I use my real name with google but don't like to for game sites. I didn't see an option to give a userid for this site. Either I missed it or the userid is always auto-selected in that way. I understand the policy is to not allow changing userids, but this is literally the first thing I have done here, so I don't see changing my userid will "cause confusion".
