Originally posted by StarrmanGot Takk - first I've heard of them and the ethereal vocals take a bit of getting used to - but I really like it. Good in a mixed iPod playlist (maybe with some Husky Rescue)
Has anyone heard of these guys? I just saw them on Later and they were great. Can anyone reccommend their album?

Also check out the soundtrack to Angels of the Universe (Englar Alheimsins - forgive my poor Icelandic) with Hilmar Orn Hilmarsson.
Not been able to hear Takk yet, but shall be buying it as soon as I'm near a decent record shop. From the reviews it sounds as though they have actually written some more mainstream pop songs (albeit in Icelandic). Anyone got any views on it?
