Being cognizant it is tantamount to sacrilege to start a serious thread in this forum, nevertheless I offer my thanks to all those people who's posts I have read here since I joined this site. Some posts I have agreed with, others I disagreed with, and some left me devoid of any feeling at all, but all of them have added to my overall experience, and for that I am grateful. I am winding down my games preparatory to leaving the site, (yes, I know, good riddance) and I just wanted to take the opportunity to wish all members well, and to say that I will recommend this site strongly whenever the occasion arises to do so. The few games I have remaining I will play out as well as I can, out of respect to my opponents, and as a tiny valediction let me say "keep an open mind and don't resist change. and yet I return so quickly
