Great when I was a kid on the Generation Game but well past his 'sell by date'
when hosting Strictly. Not a comedian, not a dancer, not a singer but an old-
fashioned entertainer - not sure if there is anyone comparable now?

They don't show British TV programmes like his here anymore so I wouldn't know, but if instead I think of other gifted personalities appering on Swedish TV, my favourite is/was Michael Parkinson - he and his guests created good entertainment with unforgettable humour.
