okay, so are 13 year olds allowed on here? In the TOS they are not under section 3 (pointed out by No1Maurader) but if you select log out at the top and see the blank page of RHP it has the sign up section with a box saying "Click if over 13"
This issue has left me confused
(I've tried reading the posts back and forth - mainly by Trev33 and No1Maurader as they seemed more focused on this aspect but i am still confused please clarify)

Oh yes, congratulations Huck on the birth of your new son. Nice Photo. I'm sure it made your wife very happy, you putting his pic up in your avatar. .
I thought it was the love child, from his bonding with a certain significant other on here, who's name starts with 'h' too. ๐

Originally posted by no1marauderYou can get married here at 16, so that blows that out of the water a bit.

Originally posted by no1marauderok confusion sorted - kind of ๐. This is where i jump off this thread as it's usefulness seems to be at an end.

I just realised i mispelt your username in my last post - apologies.

Under the TOS it says that you represent that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract.
As no1 and numerous others have pointed out this would mean that you would need to be at least 18 in many jurisdictions.
You can read about this on the net because google has the same restrictions and the obvious contradiction has captured some attention.
the fact RHP includes language about being of legal age is superfluous for this discussion. The requirement that parties to a contract have legal capacity is inherent in every contract. A party can seek to rescind a contract by claiming they lacked legal capacity: that they were under the age of majority, insane, or drunk, for instance.
RHP's lawyers are experts in this area and no doubt included the language as a protection for RHP.
Contracts between a minor and an adult are voidable and not void. That means that the minor can rescind the contract on notice.
Frankly, the law here is very complex and burgeoning. There are alot of service providers on the internet like myspace. google, yahoo, facebook, twitter, etc. that provide services to minors.
