Difficult subject, I know, but am I right in thinking there are slightly few active players then a while back?

Is this down solely to cheaters who have quit the site in fear of being identified?

More importantly, is there anything more we (the users) can do to help spread the word?

The forums, the interface, the clarity - this site really should be in a league of its own.

Yeh seems like the chess forum hasnt had a good thread in it in ages.

Also all good threads get spoiled by retards

i don't know: i look at the player table for most active player of the month quite often, and i think there are more frequent movers than there were a year ago.

certainly i'm a big fan of the site and do try to spread the word - fun to be able to play friends from real life here, for one thing.

do you think maybe if the subs didn't keep taking the piss out of the non subs?

I've always had an issue with that. The anti american thing cant help either 🙂

Yes, but I'm pretty sure the last time I looked there were at least 10,000 active players on the ranking list. Of course this does not include provisionals, but even so...

I find ridiculous that some guys here talk s+++ about me and stalk with a ridiculous amount of private messages, then they whine in forums because I'm rude to them !

They test the water on many sites without the benifit of knowing what might happen,let alone being accepted.

When they don't get acccepted they move on.
If you want RHP to lead then you must understand,if you do really want more interesting posts.Then put someone on the gate to welcome new members.Give the gate greeters the powers to guide.
