As a rule, I take this site for granted, and expect that it will always be there. During the outage, I didnt know what to do. I thought to myself, I actually might have to do work today...
I work in IT and no one ever says Good Job unless something breaks, and we fix it.
The recent RHP outage made me realize how much I miss this site when its gone. Good Job Chris and Russ for the 99.9% time that the site is up, and Good job for fixing it when it was down. You guys rock.

Ummm, you might have a point. Maybe this could be a strategy to get more subs – I randomly take the site down once a week for an hour to extort money from all the addicts. 🙂
It is a funny thing running this site, it is 24/7. And it is very difficult to not ‘just check’ in on it whenever an internet connection is near to hand. I just spent a weekend away with my parents – and I don’t suppose their PC has had quite so much use in all the time they have owned it.
But thanks for all your kind words. It is very rewarding to create something that people enjoy so much.

I also enjoy this site very much.
Keep up the good work, Russ & Chris !
Thanks

PS ... and of course everybody who's helping this site to be what it is.
especially the mods ... and who else ? ... I don't know
Originally posted by dylHmm, apon rereading my message I can see how that last part might sound sarcastic. Just clarifying that it wasn't. Chris and Russ are doing a fantastic job and I really do mean "keep up the good work".
During the outage I sat at my computer continually refreshing the browser while wimpering slightly. That was the worst 3 hours of my life.
Keep up the good work guys.
The first part was also serious.
