Is anyone else finding the site slow to load in the last couple of days?

being a php forum - that doesn't surprise me - especially for slower internet connections, but I haven't noticed a change over the last few days

I have not noticed any deterioration myself, but there has been a 30%+ increase in the number of people signing up over the last few days, so this may be impacting site performance a little.

[And it is nothing to do with PHP, I can assure you. Bottlenecks lie elsewhere…]

You can check which end it is. When you click a link and you see a long time something like "contacting www.redhotpawn.com..." in your status-bar, it's the RHP end. If the response is quick, but the loading of the page itself is slow, it's your end.
