Yesterday I managed to save my PC from spyware with system restore. But now Internet explorer is so slowly I can't do anything and firefox is not working at all. And when I am downloading from the internet, it downloads with speed of 277 bytes (😲) per second. What could be the cause for that ?

Originally posted by ivan2908i would save your favourites and reinstall mozilla.... have you done a virus scan? it might be worth reinstalling i.e as well, but before you do, try another spyware scan using either spybot or adaware...

if you do uninstall i.e. you need to go to add/remove and click on windows components, dont upgrade, remove it completely and then reinstall
