it is obvious to myself that weed is sure to help ease pain for suffers of certain conditions. does anyone have anything to say on this topic not as a fun-drug, but for the medical purposes it has. i'm not too sure if it is illegal here in N.Z. for medical purposes, but how do they deal with it in your corner of the world?

My government is a bit hypocratic about it. It's illegal and it's illegal to write perscriptions for it, and yet the government ship it out to a certain number of residents (currently at 6 as the rest have died out) for free and regulary with no negative reprecusions. Not sure why though.

In the US, certain liberal states have marijuana as a medicine(only for serious ailments like cancer) but the vast majority of states do not prescribe dope. However, when it is given as a pain agent it is usually the good stuff(no shake for the US gov't) or a capsule containing pure THC. As a general rule, pot is a long way from being legallized and as a result still has a dubious reputation as a painkiller.

There is as known relationship between grass and mental health problems such as depression. be careful is self medicating.

That is true. Lots of people blame their mental health problems on dope. Some people would also blame their financial and legal problems on dope.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this opinion.
I blame all of these problems on the people themselves.

If it hadn't been the dope, it would probably have been some more dangerous substance like alcohol, hash, mushrooms, acid, H, speed, beer, MaryJane, heroin, tabs, weed, whiskey, coke, whisky, pills, coca cola, drops, amf, horse, cocaine...

I might be wrong, of course, because there haven't been any studies on what these depressed souls would have done if they hadn't smoked a joint in the first place...

i'm not one to take much dope or any harder drugs but i do have a lot of friends during my lifetime that have. some people handle it and some people don't. not too sure why but whenever i have it i say see you later i'm off home.what's the fun in that?
on the medical side of things i have found it to be useful in helping over recent years. i've been through a lot and have often found my mind completly overloaded. at these times i have puffed up a bit till my mind wasn't able to do much at all and then in the morning i could start again. i told my doctor about smoking it and he got annoyed but lol. 'yeah man it was good stuff'.

It's for medicinal use only, then?

Or do you mean hypocritical?🙂

Be careful if smoking dope, it can be dangerous if you mix it with tobacco.

Frosted shredded wheat ought to be a controlled substance. Tastes like sugar-coated sawdust. 😕

No, I haven't. But if it really tastes like frosted shredded wheat, maybe I should give it a try. It would be a cheap alternative.

Urm...Yes...That's what I mean. Sorry, to many words have virtually the same letters in them.
