Originally posted by KewpieOne would have hoped. I have a firewall in the wifi router but I think what happened was I downloaded an app from Cnet, which is supposed to give virus free apps, this one synced the PC clock to atomic standard, the clock on the PC kept losing time, couldn't set the timing but this app adjusts the clock. It was after that that the snap thing turned up and doing superantispyware turned up 3 copies of that trojan. Running AVG after that turned up nothing, which doesn't mean there is nothing left, just if there is, it was outside the detection range of AVG.
Your security software should have stopped it arriving in the first place, shouldn't it? I don't mean your virus checker either, I mean the firewall or spyware stuff.
I also ran Super a second time, it turned up more adware but nothing else.
