I once saw a death announcement for Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez in a car accident in Central America. Years later, I saw the same individual's death announcement again on television -- same car accident. I used to routinely scan the obituaries in the Arizona Republic (local newspaper of record) just to see if the same obituary ever showed up twice. Once it did, separated by a period of years. The photograph of the individual was unusual and unmistakable. So who knows, maybe Ev will be back. For that matter, I have routinely seen comic strips in the newspaper appearing twice over a period of years -- and not as a reprint the second time (as when the artist is on vacation) but as a new comic. Including some Doonesburys. So maybe that will repeat too. But I doubt it.
