😕 A little early to tell...less than 20% of the vote has been counted. The polls here in Alaska aren't even closed yet....🙂

If Bush wins Ohio (leading 51-48 right now) and New Mexico (leading 52-47), he is re-elected. A few commentators are saying it's already over - Bush's Ohio lead may already be insurmountable.

Two networks have called Ohio for Bush, but CNN is disputing that, saying that there are still enough votes to be counted that Kerry could still win...

There is a website where people trade futures on who will be the next president - the betting there is now massively in favor of Bush:

Well, if Bush has indeed won Ohio, the election is pretty much over. Even if Kerry sweeps what's left of the states, that only brings him to 269 along with Bush. Then the vote goes to the House of Representatives, which is staying in the hands of the Republicans. Really Kerry's only chance to steal this election resides with the uncounted provisional ballots in Ohio. And counting them could take as long as two weeks, since each and every one has to be scrubbed for verification of voter eligibility.

Yes - it now looks like the Ohio situation is going to drag on at least overnight. Bush's margin (about 100,000) is probably too large for Kerry to overcome, but the Dems are indicating they may try to challenge the results; and will certainly not concede until 170,000 provisional ballots are counted, which could take some time...

God, if they managed to vote bush in again.........retards. Its really amazing how stupid they can be. You might as well put a chimp in the Whitehouse. I just feel sorry for all the Americans who have the sense to see that Bush is a fat turd.

Yes, it would certainly be "stealing" the election to count all the votes! Where do you come up with such inane ideas?
