Isn't there a rule that you can't headbutt someone if the cameras are rolling?
The worst violence in a sporting event I was participating in was in a soccer game. I played in this "recreational" league in the over-25 division (obviously some time ago). We won our division, and somebody with no good sense decided that it would be fun to have us play the winner of the "open" division (made up mostly of college players). Well, it wasn't really fun - I think we were losing 10-zero or 11-zero at the half. Then things went from bad to worse. Play got a little rougher, and the "kids" started up with taunts about us being mad because we were old. Well, most of us old farts didn't care, and were just waiting for the final whistle. But we had this one player, a former Green Beret - strong, athletic, and crazy to the point where you weren't sure that he knew he wasn't still in Vietnam. Midway through the second half he simply went off making what Zidane did in the World Cup look like a love pat. The first guy he hit had a visibly-broken jaw, the second guy was out cold before everyone else could pile onto this maniac. Needless to say, there was no more match, and we spent the time talking with the police and watching the ambulances come and go.
