Social Distancing

General

Is everyone still doing the social distancing and wearing masks? Or would we rather not talk about this?

@Very-Rusty

Social distancing has become a natural way to be, there are other ways to communicate - telephone, facetime for some. No problem really.

I don't think we'll ever go back to team meetings in the office.

Working from home has spoiled me. As I'm typing this I'm in a company meeting.

I can no longer even fathom going back to an office.

Restaurants survive easier if they can make take-away food, a new way of dining. It used to be mostly Asian food but now I buy Swedish home-made food at our local coffee-shop/restaurant.

When I was out today the numbers on the pavements frequently made social distancing impossible. I noticed that some people have started doing this weird little sprint. I guess it feels somehow okay to pass through a small gap if you put on a burst of speed!

I was thinking to myself that if the powers that be were looking at the reality of the situation they would have one pavement for one direction and cross the road if you want to go the other way like the lanes on the road. It all seemed a bit random.

There is a narrow canal system near where I live and they have introduced a one-way system. Has really made it a pleasant walk.

Loving life at the moment.

The new social pattern that is being developed now has helped slow down the pace a bit. It isn't all bad.

Yes, I have heard many people say that they didn't like the idea of working from home. Now they love the idea and figure they are more productive working from home.

I agree and also wear a mask in all retail places. Have you been able to work from home?

If you aren't driving to work it sure would save on gas!

There! A glimmer, a glimmer of hope if you work for the corporate boot heel.
