JMHO - Disconnect it.
We have snail mail, email, text, fax, phone, instant messaging, zoom, skype and several other forms of communication. Do we really need Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter on top of all this?
Your worth as a human will not be measured by how many "likes" you get on Instagram. Social Media robs you of productive time, drains your energy, and contributes to peoples ever shorter attention spans. Shut it off!

@rookie54 saidHello - I posted this not as a "rant" since little emotion was felt on my part when writing it. Just expressing my opinion - If that's OK with you.
@mchill
interesting how you've chosen a social chatroom in a relative backwater of the internet to reveal yer rant
i approve
now go away
P.S. I will "go away" when I choose to, and not before. 🙂
@ghost-of-a-duke saidSame here. Also many friends are around the world and use FB to connect.

@mchill saidAll technology can be used for both good and bad. If you use it for bad then you disconnect yours, or make rules for kids in your home. If you cannot control the kids in your home then you have more serious problems than social media, so fix those first.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidIf ZuckRapeBook is the only thing that keeps you connected with your family, you don't have a family.
