from what i understand, RHP has a whole history of scandals and problems that have been forgotten already.

and since i am pretty new on RHP, all the old storys have been deprived from me

I thought that maybe some of the older and wiser players on the site could explain some storys that i never really understood what happened in them.

so come on all of you 2002 - 2003 players, tell us some good old gossip about old scandals that have been the centre of RHP a long long time ago.

PS: this thread is not in order to start old fights, just so that me and some other new players can get a scence of what was once going on....

it's like you get these little hints reading the forums, and just sit there wondering what they're going on about (edmond dantes)? Maybe the past is better left alone, but it leaves you wondering......

Well, let me start at the beginning. The first time things got messy was when ....

No, no, it is all too traumatic. I can't even bring myself to talk about it.... πŸ˜‰

Good old days? I thought you wanted to know about the bad old days…

Anyway, the first real problem user we had was Xenophobe - and he was very highly rated for a while. With a name like that, you just knew he was going to be trouble.

As a new member to this site, I would like, too, to hear more about it. Not gossip, which I believe maybe deserves be be forgotten. But more about the pages history. How it has develop throughout the years after it has started (when was that by the way?), and what is important features at the site, in your opinion. Also I would like to hear more about what you can do as a non-subscriber (which I still am...but maybe not for long), and what you can´t do. In short: the difference between being a non-subscriper and a subscriber. So if anybody could tell something about all this I would very much appreciate it.

The first reason is the amount of games 6 if you don't subscribe, unlimited if you do. Also you can't join a clan or tournament if you don't suscribe. Overall it's a good community here if you're into good chess, I suggest you join, I did.

back in the day i had a differnt name. it was like 2 and a half years ago and my handle was mikal182. i had to quit the site to go to basic training but before i left there was this guy named xenophobe. what ever happened to that guy? i remember he was reall good at chess and knew it. alot of people disliked him for his arrogance. there has to be a story there somewhere.
