Nope...Lennon wrote the song. It was about a date he went on.

Lennon-McCartney writing tandem paired all works written by either for the band.
because the collaborated on a word, a riff, a melody or whatever. The only reason
McCartney is listed as a "co-writer" of the song is that agreement.

It is not difficult to figure which of the two was the lead writer on any song they did.

Norwegian Wood was John Lennon's song, but published under Lennon-McCartney.
