    Special Events and Happy Days

All of us savor memories that remain fragrant throughout our lives.
Joining Red Hot Pawn that Friday in July, 2007, is one of mine.

Any of yours come to mind?

"What day of the week was September 22 2006?"
    "Answer: September 22nd 2006 was a Friday."

Curiously, two Fridays (one in July and yours two months later a year before). My son, Eric, called late afternoon (Boston time on that happy day) to tell me about finding Red Hot Pawn. His two oldest children were laughing in the background and saying, "Now we can play chess again with Grampy Bobby." Other than having taught them a few basics, many decades had passed since I had played serious chess. Surprised and Delighted, to say the least! Russ & Chris, thanks. (gb)
