LMAO. Next time I'm sitting in the garden with my dear old mother I will say ' what a beautiful crepuscular we are witnessing ' as the sun descends. Yeah right! NOT! I doubt even Shakespeare used that word! 😛

It may not be much in use, but as someone who's interested in atmospheric light phenomena I was familiar with the term "crepuscular rays" (as well as the more rare anti-crepuscular rays). http://www.atoptics.co.uk/atoptics/ray1.htm
