Found the premise hard to get my head around.
Take the Paul Dano character who is dispensed with fairly quickly.
They burn words into his arm, take off a nose (nice!), a foot. This appears suddenly on the present day character.
Yet he has lived without these disabilities for many years

Agree - always will remember seeing this for the first time in a dirty Chicago cinema, and have loved it ever since.
Perhaps AI can finally fix Denise Richard's acting? However, it is part of the B-movie charm of it all though.
*And the Blur/Song 2 trailer for it was pretty good at building the hype too!
