Sometimes, I'm sure, but more often than not it's about sticking in your first thought as opposed to weighing the different ways of answering a question perhaps.

It might be the best answer, you know your partner - if she is happy with that, then it's fine. At least we know that the other answer would be absolutely wrong.

I had always been the type of person who, when asked a question, gave an honest answer, but soon learned that the questioner wasn't always expecting me to be quite so honest, rather expecting me to stick in an option number two or three. 🙂
