Kind of brings a tear to the eyes, and a gag in the throat.

Run your own experiment. Take your leftovers (about enough to fill a small fridge) and put them in a sealed box someplace you consider about the right climate for an office building in California.

Wait a couple weeks and open the sealed container. Hit that with some cleaning agents and a spot cleaner.

Get back to me, I await your results.

I did a liquidation of a Korean bar, I am sure it was a knock shop come bar come karaoke saloon. We got the locksmith to unlock the doors and then entered the premises, the locksmith dealt with the alarm, and we entered the kitchen.

We had to withdraw as there was so many blow flies - but after all 3 of us armed with fly sprays we made another attack and used up 3 tins of the stuff.

The culprit was that the electricity supplier had turned off the electricity several days before the Court appointed me resulting in what we encountered.

That was nothing to what happened next - we started removing everything of value, paintings etc and then all these Koreans encountered us and started chasing us with meat clevers. We ran. I was phoning the Police and telling them and they were phoning the Police and saying they were being robbed.

Anyway, 3 Police cars with 9 officers turned up, and I presented my Court order to the Sergeant who may have been a little racist - he had been after this gang for some time. Anyway, they had a Korean lawyer attending, and inciting these guys, and all I can remember is this Sergeant saying to this lawyer, "say another word and I am arresting you for inciting a riot". I have never ever seen an Asian shut up immediately.

That is a true story - we were just talking about it today with the old colleagues who worked with me.

I can tell you it is quite frightening being chased down a major street in little old Auckland, NZ with people with meat clevers who would have used them.

That was 20 years ago, language difficulties etc, never happen nowadays.

How things have changed over the decades. 😀
