Stoopid versus schmart...

Stoopid versus schmart decisions we have all made and deeds we have all done

yet (thanks to God's undeserved grace) are still around to recall and reminisce:

* Proposing to my first wife at the tender age of twenty. In the youthful moment

neither of us were really qualified to make that solemn lifetime contractual bond.

* Proposing to my dear second wife at the age of thirty nine. By then, we both well

knew what mattered. With eyes wide open, maturity fueled our relaxed rapport.

Wonder if there's anyone else here relating to either or both ends of this spectrum

of common human experience... full responsibility for these decisions and deeds.

Stoopid: When haft drunk at a rowdy bar never ever say the following, " F U and your 20 friends!"

Schmart: Having the sense to keep my big mouth shut the next time I was in a similar situation.

This ill conceived thread would qualify as a good example of a stoopid idea. Oh, well... few lead balloons now and then enforce humility.
