He also let Elvis on the show after saying he wasn't getting on because of his sexual dancing. He probably didn't have much choice I am thinking. Elvis did ease up a bit on the dance part of his routine. 🙂

I remember the Stones live on Ed Sullivan’s show. “Let’s Spend the Night Together “ was their current hit single but the lyrics had to be toned down to “let’s spend some time together.”

Ed Sullivan was certainly from the old school and way of doing things.

His show did run for 23 years!
