Strange resemblance...!
08 Nov '17 18:44The cover of the reprint of Steinitz's "Modern Chess Instructor", one of the very first book Fischer had laid his hands upon, is pretty strange when you observe it little longer.

If you search for Steinitz on the internet, you'll find pictures and drawings of Steinitz on which he is looking differently, somewhat squabby, squatty almost fat. Like bearded Oliver Hardy.
This "Steinitz" on the cover of the book bears a striking resemblance to bearded Fischer in his last years!
