i have been renewing my lights in house most are less than 100watt, but 2 livingroom and bedroom need a 150watt bulbs. the t2 fittings go up to 100watt max going to shops and phoning electrical stoses, no one makes 150watt fittings yet sell 150watt bulbs. strange?

No.........the 150watt bulbs are for those who have the 150watt fittings which are not available anymore as they are being phased out to conserve energy by using low wattage fittings.

Thats a logical guess 🙂

You could buy a 100W and a 50W fitting. 😛
