@very-rusty saidThere are also a good selection of variants if you get bored with the standard game.
Easy, medium, hard, super hard, looks like just what I am looking for! Could be the same one Kewpie was talking about too.
Thanks,

Creating your own customized e-book is also a good feature. Download it and print it out for those times when you lose your connection to the internet. Do them with a ball-point pen for a real challenge. 🙂
@Very-Rusty
Yes I do, I'm hooked on it totally, buy the books, do the games, go nuts!
I have a book called Mensa Sudoku, its a monster.
I prefer to do them on paper, due to the system I use to solve them.
@pawnpaw saidAwesome...Keep in mind I am just a beginner going to start out slowly and work my way up to the harder stuff. Kewpie said she has been doing them for 30 years, sounds like a pro to me at them, as do you!

@eladar saidGuessing almost never works for me. I have to eliminate the 8 wrong answers.
@Very-Rusty
I am not a guy who likes to guess and check puzzles for hours on end, so easy and moderate are ok. I do not do it much.
You can pretty much tell how difficult the puzzle is going to be by counting the squares that are already filled in for you. Less than 24 are more difficult, more than 28 are easier.
@js357 saidWhat if it has exactly 24 what would you consider that one?

@caesar-salad removed their quoted postThat would be some wonder in my opinion. Das Glasperlenspiel is a form of medidation coupled with a means to explain the world. Sadly enough Hesse wasn't very specific on the game...but it did not consist of numbers per se.
@ponderable saidI probably should have put this in the posers and puzzles forum.

@very-rusty saidI suggest to read the book Das Glasperlenspiel by Hermann Hesse. It was brought into the discussion by Cesar Salad and I replied to that post.

It has Nothing to do with Sudoku in my opinion.
@ponderable saidOf course the thread got off topic as expected, silly me!!! 😉

@js357 saidI've found you are absolutely correct the less squares filled in the more difficult the puzzle which is logical.
