We will go camping in Croatia between Spilt and Dubrovnik. We might visit Bosnia Herzegowina as well.

Sounds wonderful. I’m having 3 days with a friend at her chalet in Pembroke, West Wales, which has a beautiful coastline. I may also visit North Yorkshire with my ex husband.

Myself and a pal had a drunken week in Bulgaria in June. We are going back there early September. Just returned from a long weekend in Paris. Unfortunately it involved taking the grandchildren to Disneyland. Bloody horrendous and it cost me £3500, ($4500).

Went to Dubrovnik a few years ago. Nice place, great architecture.

I bet! You could all have had a far less expensive & more enjoyable, fun long weekend at a Center Parks resort; that was my excuse for avoiding the place many years back.

The hotel we stayed at had an adventure playground and a pool which the kids loved. I said to my wife we could have booked a hotel in the UK with a pool near a play ground and they would have been just as happy.

I spent a few days in Stockholm in midsummer and recently a few days in Bovallstrand, on the west coast, that's all this summer.

I was a bit of a “stranger to the truth”, in my last response.😲 We are hoping to head to the Laurentians, north of Montreal, in early Sept to visit family. Sorry about that but it was just a little lapse in memory.🫢

Did you by chance EVER see your neighbours?
That’s the beauty of the place and Longleat, and possibly all UK sites?, were strict about keeping all cars in the car parks except on the arrival & departure days making it super safe for young kids on bikes. The German & Dutch sites weren’t so.
