AND THE RESULTS ARE IN, WITH AN INTERSTING OUTCOME,
THE REFS: 21----SEAHAWKS: 10
personally i think the steelers didnt need to even play, the refs did the playing for them
Opinions eighter way?

I thought every call the refs made was obvious and reasonable, except maybe the one Pittsburgh touchdown play where the refs determined the ball had barely penetrated the end zone. Truthfully, I couldn't tell whether it had or not, and I doubt they could either. More likely, they just didn't want to reverse their call on something that was so unsure, unlike the other play that was challenged, where it was way obvious the Seahawk player was touched before he went down. They did reverse their decision on that one, but I think only because it was so obvious.
Regardless, the refs did not win this game... the Seahawks lost it... and badly, too.

2 missed fieldgoals, bad play on 3rd and long rather than get into FG position for an extra 3 to make it a 1 point game... That is about 9 points your team cost you, not the Refs.
If a team is going to win, it should be able to win with ONE QUESTIONABLE CALL.

Hey maybe they will let me win a superbowl ring when I wanna retire too???

Would you have overturned the call after reviewing the play? If so, you would have made the wrong call to overturn.
Remember, the umps don't see anything in slow motion.
Seattle dropped too many balls, threw a crucial pick, missed field goals, and couldn't stop Steelers when they needed to. They beat themselves.

Even if they don't give the TD, it's fourth and goal 1mm away, and I think Cowher goes for it and gets it anyway. There's no way to say that the Seahawks would have only been down by 4 going into their final drive.

First of all, the two fgs we missed were from 50 yards or more out, so it was likely we would miss those. And while I agree we did something weird when we were in time trouble near the end, the refs had handed the steelers the limbardi trophy the instant they walked on the field. When we caught the ball in the endzone (that shoulda been 7) they called it "offensive pass interference." The ref should learnt hat its not pass interference when your untangling arms, now if Jackson would have pushed him over, then ran, that would have been a penalty. Later, the seahawks are down and are making a huge drive at the goal. We throw a BEAUTIFUL bomb down to the 5 yard line and the ref calls holding on us. I was listening to an ex-Steeler player comentating the game, and he said that was a bogus call. He said there was clearly NOTHING holding about that play. So we get moved back. THEN Hassleback threw the ball away and got called for: "blocking below the waist" when he was clearly tackling the runner. What form of tequilla was that ref on? Watever it was, i want some. It's not blocking if your tackling the guy with the ball, its only blocking if you hit the dude without the ball. Matt hit the guy with it.
In conclusion, it seems that while yes, the hawks did not play like we hoped, at every turn we made momentum, the refs called the most momentum halting penlty for no reason, usually after a steeler had a chance to talk to him... odd
