OK so he has given six mmonths notice, but he is still going.

I hope he takes The News of the World to court and wins. The press should get behind the national manager rather than spend thousands of pounds of elaborate entrapment scams. How they are allowed to print infomation gathered under false pretences is beyond me.

At the end of the day, he was untrustworthy and unworthy of his wage. Yes, the techniques used to get this story were disgusting, but he really should go.

I would liike to see the best man for the job run the England football team.

Look what Duncan Fletcher has done for English cricket.

The most important thing is to have a succesful team on the pitch, where the manager was born is irrelevant.

Presumably something to do with them having the whole thing on tape.

He should go because he's a obscenely overpaid, and stunningly mediocre football manager, who spent the last five years trying to get his leg over and networking for another job ... Man Utd, Chelsea, Aston Villa
