My daughter in law is Swedish, from Gotenburg so you can bet she is
one happy camper right now.
I used to play the game when I lived in Anchorage Alaska, its
pretty big there, lots of ice! Olympic Curling is a bit differant from
our amateur games though, we just launched the stones like a
bowling ball but the girls followed the stone halfway down the isle.
Interesting stuff and Herbert I think is her name, did a tremendous
gold medal winning shot knocking out two swiss stones and leaving
hers in place, incredible shot.

But yes. Norberg's killer rock in the end was a good one. Had me jumping. After Sweden lost points in the eight and ninth I was sure they wouldn't cut it, but BAM! and there they were. Gold winners.
This is by far the best OS Sweden has had. 😀

Anja Paerson (hope I spelled that right) should have more golds. 1 gold and 2 bronze is still very good for a single Olympics, but the Kostelic (again, hope I spelled that right) of Croatia I think got them. Both are very good skiers.
And today everything looked good for Anja but then Anna Ottoson took bronze whereas Anja only made it to fifth place. Everyone expected a gold from Anja, but she's done well enough I think. 🙂

Yeah, that Super-G was crazy, how the heck did an american win gold? Especially her, I mean come on, Julia Mancuso!?!? Anja should have medaled, to bad really, would've been nice to snatch 4 medals our of 5 events.

only think that matters is which country, Sweden or Finland, wins ice hockey final. Of course first we have to hope sweden makes it to the finals...
You think Finland will win over Russia? I think it's gonna be a tight match, but I hope for Finland.
