Taking Abuse from opponent

I've just played a game against 'pothead' which was a bit of a shambles from both of us. gameid:753353

I was trying to salvage the game by forcing his king out, which bought up the 3 repeat moves issue. This is were he had a problem with it, because it forced his king out (my plan). I offered a draw explaining that we both stuffed up and perhaps a rematch was in order.
He denied this - fine. We played it out and its looking like I'm going to win.

I have now received this:

Your cheesy tatic paid off as I would have never put my King out in the open field, which is always suicide. That 3-peat, repetition clause is only there when there's no real chance of a finish it's not desinged for desperate players trying to win at any cost. You are not a sportsman and don't understand the spirit of competition. This is the first time playing on this site somebody has pi*sed me off and I hope I never have to deal with you again.

I'm willing to take a draw, but really don't want to go though the process of 'calming him' down.
Is there some site-rules or something for this?

just ignore 'em. attempting to force a draw is entirely reasonable, and if he makes losing moves in order to avoid a forced draw, that's his stupid losing decision and you're right to punish him. don't play him again.

I played pothead once, not an experience i am likely to repeat.

I would not ignore him. I would tell him to go swallow a bag of pot and smoke it out of his own... well it's a 3-letter word that begins with A. 😉 But of course that's just me, you can ignore him if you choose to.
