Take the skull or not take the skull?
Did you have the opportunity to take the skull before?
If not you had no option but to "respect" the holiday sign before, since once it's you opponents move all you can do is sit back and wait for them to either move or time out.
If you have had an opportunity to take the skull before, but didn't, why are you asking now when the opportunity has arisen again?
Is there some reason why you no longer wish to respect the holiday sign?
If there is why ask, just take the skull.
If there isn't why ask, just continue respecting the holiday sign.
Just remember that even the top rated players (2,000 +) take move timeouts.
