Well my bet's up in smoke. Lampard to score first for England and Ivory coast to beat Argentina £1 double. LAst of the big spenders blos it agind. My other bet still has a chance though. £1 eahcway outright for Ivory Coast at 66/1.
ANd finally, I bet £1 on the numbers 24 25 26 28 29 and 33 dropping in the UK national lottery. No accounting for what numbers are selected by camelplop inc.

Argentina played an excellent 1st half ... divers ? yeah a lot ! but I´ve seen the same with germans, swedens, and englands these days ...

Paraguay was a real shame ( sorry guaranies ) , England could win for 2 or even more goals !

I've watched three games now and will get to watch Mexico vs Iran tomorrow. I think I'm really becoming a soccer fan. And I think it's because of reading all the World Cup posts on RHP. You guys/gals are good promoters for the sport. Thanks.

a) What is the "quality of teams on paper" besides your opinion?
b) What is the "quality of teams in recent games" besides your opinion?
c) The British pundits, you mean?
d) Bookies' odds are dependent on the numbers of people who bet (expected and confirmed). If a significant number of them are British, which are Europe's biggest gamblers, then they'll protect themselves from risk, which means they'll underpay bets on England.

So. Was that your expert opinion?
