Those things are additive. Be warned. As long as you do not get one for false religious reasons or one that is profane you are under grace. Make sure you use a tattoo artist that uses a new needle and has the skill of a artist. A tattoo is "permanent", so choose wisely.
I know how to get rid of them... I admit I've never tried it, and it sounds like it might take long and be a tad painful, but if you don't have the money for lazer...
Make a paste out of salt and water, spread it on your tatoo. Take a quarter (or any other coin) and start rubbing in circles. Scabs will form, and when they come off parts of the tatoo will be on them.
I actually know a guy who got rid of his that way... well he's done it 3 times, and about half of it is gone.

Originally posted by Hand of HecateI have two tatoos (so far) there small and easy to hide. Just make sure it means something to you. I had my daughters name tatooed across a flower when she was born. Am going to add my other two daughters next. Something I will never regret, like a skull or ex boyfriends name!!!! Those kind of things you outgrow. ( my other one is a queen bee on the back of my shoulder; long story!)
Thinking of getting a couple of tatoos as rememberances. Late in life maybe, but... I'm tired of living life with regrets. Might as well do what I want to do... Live Life.
Anyone get one and hate it? Good stories? Bad ones? ...[text shortened]... ons? Passing of friends & family? Special events? Pissed drunk?
Definately make sure it's a registered and reputable place.Don't be afraid to ask questions and shop around. A crappy job will make you regret it no matter what you get. Some colors fade more than others as well. Be sure to ask.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Bloody hell.
It's only skin. Why worry about it? If you have a tattoo it's a memory from a moment when you wanted it. Accept it like a scar.

It is incredibly painful, and it is the same as a bad burn! It is very likely to get infected as well!!!!!
Originally posted by Moldy CrowThanks for the suggestion, I was thinking I'd shave my head and have my face tattooed on the back of my head. This way, no one'll know if I'm coming or going. Or possibly I can have made in Canada tatooed on my willy, accented with a Canadian flag at the tip.
