Do you use the donuts with meat on or just the plain cream donuts?

Meat donuts? MEAT? In... in coffee? Good Lord.

Personally, it depends on the tea and the biscuit. A common Tetley brew would accommodate anything from a fig roll to a Ryvita (possibly). But as for the full-flavoured Assam, Indian Prince or English Breakfast i'd have to begin with a Rich Tea, closely followed by an original Hob nob. Something that doesn't marr the taste.

A smoky tea such as Lapsang Souchong, or the Green Japanese Sencha I believe to be best left un-dunked-in.

Nothing should ever be dunked in tea, except a tea bag.
Some nice Douwe Egberts and a quick dunk of a ginger or nutty biscuit is The Goodness. Ouma Buttermilk rusks will do too.

My wife, on the other hand, dunks everything in anything. It's quite disgusting.
Bovril toast in coffee, biscuits in tea, jam sandwiches in milk.
*shudder*

am a digestive man myself, but an Australian friend of mine introduced me to Tim Tams (quite similar to Penguins (chocolate biscuit) for my UK friends...)

Bite a small part of two diagonally opposite corners, dip one "opened" corner into the tea, and suck the tea up through the biscuit using the other "opened" end.

Results in a fantastic chocolaty/tea-ey mix in your mouth - results in a horrible chocolaty/tea-ey mess on your lap/floor if you get it wrong though....

I've done this from time to time with a Twix - not sure of any similarities in America - but it's a twin-finger, caramel topped biscuit. Bite the end off and it acts like a straw. Delicious.

No, because I dislike crumbs in my tea intensely. This does not mean that I look down on people who do it, mind you - just do so in your own mug, not mine.
What I do do is take a stroopwafel (typically Dutch kind of biscuit, look them up, they're delicious) and put it on top of my hot mug. It will then steam and go luverly soft and warm and gooey, without getting crumbs in my char. Of course, the char in question has to be literally steaming.

I'm a Russian Caravan kind of guy.

I don't know about this whole biscuit thing, though. Tollhouse cookies and a glass of milk suit me fine.
