In 2006 he captained Portugal to our best performance since the days of Eusebio and was named for the World Cup All Star Team. He also won Serie A with Inter 4 years in a row.

But it's true that he shone most from 1998 to 2006 and faded out afterwards. It's hard to find players who have performed at their best for the exact 10 years, though.

But I concede that I am biased, so he may not objectively have a place in others teams. He does in mine.


Edit - Yep, Brazil's Ronaldo.

Give them time.. they just need Gainey to pick up few scoring wingers at the trade deadline.

Markov and Gionta will make a big difference now that they are back. Add 2 more scorers and watch out!
