When did companies stop putting the cream cheese on for me?
I also bought a coffee the other day and I asked for two cream and sugars and he pointed over my shoulder to some table where...you guessed it...I get to do it myself.
And last but not least...I'm at the grocery store and they are enforcing these "self check out lines"
These machines save the owner money because he/she doesn't have to pay an employee to run the check out.
Are the products cheaper? Nope.
Next time I am renovating someones kitchen or bathroom I am going to give them the supplies and the tools and ask for my payment.
They should be able to put the rest together like me and my bagel.
CREAM CHEESE IS HARD TO SPREAD WHEN YOU'RE IN A RUSH!!
PLASTIC KNIFE MY ASS!!

just a couple of weeks ago there was news about service making a comeback in finland after a decade of self-service trend. apparently the customers have been complaining about lack of service so much that it's seen as an advantage instead of financial burden again.
Or maybe it's just that I like serving my coffee and picking my voisilmäpulla by myself in that place in the corner of Bulevardi and Mannerheimintie. Moreover, I'm not willing to pay a single Euro more for them just because the salaries of the employees are higher due to their new obligation to come to my table, smile. and place a bib on me so my royal belly is not sprinkled with coffee drops.
