Just shows you the real value of education - none. All dipheads get in to unis and talented and bright dudes like me are left out just because we are too lazy to read for exams.
Or it shows you the real value of an IQ.

Exactly! I scored high on an IQ test and all that tells me is that I'm pretty good at taking IQ tests.

Expatiation of people who lacks education only establishes opinion that education is useful.

In-born talent is meaningless if you don't do anything with it. Scoring well on an IQ test doesn't exempt you from having to work for what you want and jump through the same hoops as everyone else.

Keep posting in that way - let people see how education is useful. 🙂

It has been my lifelong dream to go to college. That, however, has not been an option for me. I have worked very hard to get to the top of my field, and have done very well. Education isn't everything, it doesn't hurt, but it isn't everything.

"Useful" and "Everything" does not mean the same.

I guess you didn't realize that you didn't have the same acquired skills that the other students did.

Even if IQ tests meant anything, they would only mean that you have potential. It's your own fault that you didn't turn this potential into an effective advantage. Who cares if you have potential talent if you can't use it?

Of course, I'm one of those that believes that IQ tests are as related to intelligence as Sudoku. Which means that I believe you are both talentless and an academic failure.

Or it could just go to show that I.Q. tests mean bull.
edit: a little late saying this. 😞

hard work wins over talent every single time.

not that I disagreed about a lot of, eh, not so bright people getting into the universities. but they study with dicipline, so they get in and generally do well.

I graduated as the best of my high school, never really studied much. I've applied twice into helsinki university of technology, got accepted both times, but not with a huge margin. people do cram to get in, and if you try to just whistle your way in, you have a good chance of failing.

but you can always try again next year.

I think I better study next time to get to uni. Well I am still happy, I am actually studying at the top finnish university of applied sciences.
