There is no need to be insulting. You're intelligent enough to know that professional sports is a business. The nuts and bolts of these businesses are market conditions, management, legal agreements, and other documentation. Female professionals have lost money going on strike, and on lawsuits to get contracts signed insuring their equal pay. Regardless of what you may feel, there is a very healthy market for top female tennis players (TV and cable viewership bears this out) and they will be paid in accordance with their contracts.

I don't understand why you posted this in the first place. The pay for female tennis pros isn't coming out of your pocket, so, why should you care?

Less time, less quality... Same pay/prize money. Agree with you but it's not going to change. Woman should be playing 5 sets on slam, would make it more interesting.

@The-only-Mr-T; I use to go, since they introduced equal pay,I stopped. Maybe the man should demand to play best out of three sets of tennis as well !!.

@mchill ; My last comment.. Souppose you want to go to watch a tennis GRAND SLAM, you go to by the ticket,you're told that tickets cost $200.00 for man and woman ,my question is which one you prefer to whatch,man or women games???.
