I know the Canadians beat us to it (I thought they were suppose to be the nice people?), but to all of my fellow USA'ers: Happy Thanksgiving!
The thing I am most thankful for is my family making it through 2020 with no serious problems. Also my two sons finishing university and passing their registered nurse exams and securing jobs. In this Covid world I worry about their safety as they work on the front lines.

Unfortunately Thanksgiving is not a cherished tradition in Sweden. It's a wonderful thought even though, this year, it may not be possible for you. I'm sure you will find a way.
@montymoose saidIf you exclude me we are a pretty nice people. We were just smart enough to have our thanksgiving in October. Do you really enjoy having a turkey on November 26th then another one on December 25th?.....Anyway it is not about the Turkey it it is about giving thanks to what you have. This year we can be thankful for those of us still alive.

Everyone who celebrates remember to stay in your bubble, safety is most important, then perhaps next year you can get together in a larger crowd. Do what the Scientists, Doctors, and experts say and together you can beat this killer virus.

More people are actually traveling then usual against requests not to go anywhere.
It is really sad to hear especially on Thanksgiving day!
I hope you and your family are safe and healthy.
