OK, this can be for RHP Aussie( but not excluding the rest of you users[thanks for the alert, mwmiller]) to discuss Aussie issues and current affairs.

HOw abou the Pauline Hanson case, about her discussing parole with that child killer? Any issues on that?

So, is Australia a good place to live? Is it better than, say England, or the USA?

I think I may have replied to the wrong post. But anyway - the term is ........ G'day .......... try asking any Aussie what " GEDDAY" is and you'll probably get some referal to put some object in an unpleasant place or to see some movie with "Jedi" Knights in it.
Now, while we're on the subject of Aussies, there's been some interesting talks over here (OZ) about how to cook meat on the Barbie - I get a feeling its a bit like sex - hot and fast or slow and long................ANON

Avoid living in inner city Sydney and you can't really go wrong. Australia is big enough to avoid being a backwater, but small enough to still have some sort of country town feel.

PK is an Aussie, LOL. His spelling may be a little off, but I'm sure his pronunciation is down pat.

And on the original topic of Pauline Hanson, what a stupid mole she is. Dead set, I don't think there is one other person who annoys me more, except maybe Mr Bush. Granted, her prison sentence was too harsh and should have been lessoned considerably, but does the bloody media have to make her out as a hero now??
