@screwthenutson removed their quoted postWell either you don’t watch live TV and don’t have to, or you’re breaking the law.
Perhaps “optional” to you means the same as road speed limits are optional.
@screwthenutson removed their quoted postThanks for your contribution and for being here these last 24 days; this forum needs more people writing posts about how they claim to not be scared of letters.

@screwthenutson removed their quoted postAs an employee of the TV Licensing Authority (which also covers Scotland) I can assure you we do more than just send letters. To demonstrate the consequences of not having a licence, feel free to PM me your address.
Please ignore this request if you are too scared.

@screwthenutson removed their quoted postA bit of a stretch I think to call your pizza delivery guy a business associate.

Another BBC pervert revealed and charged today with making indecent images of children.
Meanwhile he was one of the BBC’s highest paid staff, on full pay while off on extended supposed “sick leave” post the previous grooming scandal, AND also received a £40,000 pa pay rise during that period. It beggars belief. When will the scandals and abuse at the BBC ever end!

In deep troubled water yet again for being the broadcaster of abuse while pretending to be the broadcaster of woke!
How much more does the British tax payer have to put up with before this corrupt institution which is funded by taxation without representation is finally kicked into the long grass.
I disagree. As an American, I enjoy the quality and variety of The BBC's programming, which I consider to be at least as good (if not better) than what is produced in the US. The BBC is a rather large organization, and not everyone will agree with how they operate. This does not mean it should be shut down.
@mchill saidI really don't enough about it but what I've seen on BBC was no issue. I really don't know what all the fuss is about to be honest.

@mchill saidI’m not proposing it should be shut down for either it’s size as a corporation nor the quality of its programs.

I’m not sure where you got that idea from.
