Here's my interpretation of what he meant:
The Bears were who they thought they were. The Cards played the Bears in the 3rd preseason game and Dennis Green and his staff came up with a scheme to beat them. Basically the defence would clamp down on passes for the start of the game until Grossman got impatient and started throwing it out there. Stop him being able to dump it off to the RB in the flats.
On offence they played short routes (6-7 yards) and forced the Bears to come up to defend them. Then you push them back again by going long. The OL played like they were possessed for the first half probably because they knew all they had to do was block long enough for a 3 step drop and throw.
So the Bears were who they thought they were. The plan worked. And yet they let them off the hook. Understandably he was pissed.
The crown their ass bit was all about the fact that people are predicting the Bears to 16-0 and with the weaknesses the Cards exposed on Monday I can't see any team not doing similar things to them in coming weeks.
